Thanks for visiting my photography website. Photography is my passion… my form of artistic expression. Getting lost on a new street with my camera is one of my favorite things to do. The more exotic and adventuresome… the better. Don’t ask me to skydive out of plane for thrill… but climb a steep pagoda at the risk of severe injury if I fall… with 2 cameras, 5 lenses and tripod in almost complete darkness… I’m totally in. Every capture of time on this website started a glimmer of light that caught my eye. Every picture has a story… and often a unique and personal experience with life in the wild. I love how I feel when I see the magic of life through a lens. Pure heaven. We need more heaven here on earth.
So this is how the journey began… I grew up on a small farm in Kansas. I loved life on the farm and the lessons of life that nature teaches a young farm boy. Farm animal taught me a lot about life. I was raise by two amazing parents who loved me tenderly yet I often didn't quite fit into the natural rhythm of life that most boys my age did. The typical farm boy activities like hunting, fishing and playing ball were not really my thing. Somehow my camera seemed to magically fill that gap and I enrolled in a correspondence coarse in photography through the mail. I quickly leaned the basics of photography and I was off and running. I upgraded my point and shoot to a 35mm SLR and invested in my own darkroom. And the rest of the story just happened naturally. I became default photographer to most community events, high school and even the local news paper. I was popular loved and accepted for who was…. I fit in. The awkward farm boy had found his rhythm.
Today I live in Dallas, Texas USA and travel the world as often as possible. Currently I've visited 38 counties around the world leaving many more to go. I shoot pictures with a Canon 5d m4, love that camera! I have a canon 6d m2 as a secondary camera and an assortment of 5 canon lens to fit the focal needs of just about any adventure.
